The Council will be using our market leading property and asset management system, tf cloud, to manage its vast property estate which includes over 1,000 properties with a value in excess of £1 billion. Much of this substantial property and land portfolio is used to deliver or support key services and includes schools, offices, depots and parks. The Council also has an investment portfolio used for income generation including shops, light industry, ground rents and markets.
The Council undertook a procurement process via the G-Cloud framework which can be used by UK public sector organisations to procure cloud services from suppliers on the framework. The system being implemented includes functionality for property, estates inc billing, acquisitions, disposals & valuations, case management, condition survey, utility and more. We are also facilitating a variety of interfaces to other key business systems including finance and GIS.
Mark Wardman, Managing Director of The Technology Forge comments:
“Cardiff Council is the latest local authority to join us and we are delighted to gain another capital city client to join City of Edinburgh Council and 14 of the 33 London local authorities already using our software. We look forward to working closely with Cardiff Council in the coming months and years”.
